I like my news like I like my visits to the doctor: Unemotional and infrequent. I’ve recently written about one way to achieve this. Packy McCormick introduces another way on Not Boring: News stories inspired by a prediction market and selected by an AI, which he thinks will reduce bias and hyperventilation. It’s a good idea but I’ll not sign up since they’ll do three stories a day on weekdays, which is too frequent for me.
