During my current stay in Austria, I’m spending a few days in a vacation home in the South of the country. It’s the same house my mom and stepfather spent our summers in when I was a kid, and it’s been mostly unoccupied since. My stepfather was an artist, and he had a summer studio there that has remained untouched since he last used it a decade ago. There is something in the way he arranged his work that I find visually appealing. Maybe you can tell what I mean from the photos.
